fernandlems.com is operated by Fernanda Lemos, an individual based in Genoa, Italy. By placing an order or using this site, you enter into an agreement with us under the terms described below.

2. Our Products
At Fernand Lems, every piece is designed and made by hand. Our shop offers two types of products:
Ready-made pieces: items available in the shop are crafted in limited quantities and shipped as shown. These are one-of-a-kind creations, so once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Made-to-order pieces: products can be ordered in your chosen size, style, or with specific details. These are crafted individually for you after your order is confirmed. The product page will make clear which type applies. Please read these terms carefully before purchasing, as the conditions differ slightly depending on the product type.
3. Placing an Order
By completing checkout, you are making a binding offer to purchase the selected product(s) at the stated price. Your order is confirmed once you receive an order confirmation email from us.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order in the following circumstances:
- The product is temporarily unavailable or cannot be produced as described;
- There is an error in the pricing or product description on the site; and
- We suspect fraudulent activity.
If we cancel your order, you will be notified promptly, and any payment taken will be refunded in full.
4. Pricing & VAT
All prices displayed on the site are in euros (€) and represent the final price. No VAT is applied to purchases made on fernandlems.com.
Shipping costs are not included in the product price and are calculated separately at checkout based on your delivery destination. For a full breakdown of shipping costs, please refer to our Shipping Policy.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
5. Payment
Payment is processed automatically at the time of purchase. We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit and debit card (via Stripe);
- Apple Pay; and
- Google Pay.
All transactions are processed securely. We do not store your card details. For information on how payment data is handled, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
6. Production & Dispatch
Ready-made pieces are prepared for dispatch within 2–3 business days of order confirmation. You will receive a shipping notification by email once your order is on its way.
Made-to-order pieces require individual production. Once your order is confirmed, production begins the next business day and typically takes between 7 and 20 business days, depending on the complexity of the piece and current order volume. You will be notified by email once your order has been dispatched.
We kindly ask for your patience with made-to-order pieces: our team is small, and every piece is made with care, passion, and intention. There is no need to follow up unless your creation has been in production for more than 20 business days.
7. Delivery
Shipping times and costs vary depending on your location and chosen carrier. Full details are available in our Shipping Policy.
Delivery times are estimates from the dispatch date and may be affected by carrier delays or, for international orders, by customs processing. We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control.
Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the address you provided at checkout.
8. Right of Withdrawal & Returns
Ready-made pieces: In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of delivery, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, contact us at fernandlems@gmail.com within that period. The item must be returned unused, in its original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Made-to-order pieces: As these products are made individually to your specifications, they are exempt from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c). We do not accept returns on made-to-order pieces. However, we do offer size exchanges under the conditions set out in our Refund Policy.
Damaged or defective items (all products): If your item arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, regardless of product type, you are entitled to a remedy under EU and Italian consumer law. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.
9. Use of This Website
By accessing and using fernandlems.com, you agree to the following:
- You will use this site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others;
- You will not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its underlying systems;
- You will not introduce viruses, malicious code, or any material that is harmful or disruptive;
- You will not use this site for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent; and
- You will not scrape, copy, or reproduce any content from this site without our permission.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the site for any user who violates these conditions.

All content on this site, including text, photographs, artwork, designs, and the Fernand Lems name and visual identity, is the exclusive property of Fernanda Lemos. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this site without prior written permission.

11. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the information on this site is accurate and up to date. However, we do not warrant that the site will always be available, error-free, or that product descriptions, colours, and images perfectly represent the finished piece, as each creation is made by hand.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Fernanda Lemos shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this site or the purchase of products. Our total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the value of that order.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under EU or Italian law.
12. Governing Law & Disputes

If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Genoa, Italy.
